Dear Anna
I am very sorry for Carl,s passing, I am sending you and Isabella my sincere condolences. I still remember when Concordia and I met Carl and you in Mweni Valley in the 70’s. The last time I met Carl was at July Camp 2009 with Isabella.
Yours sincerely
Herko.
Our sincere condolences to Ana and Isabella, and to Paul Fatti and his siblings and family. Very sad indeed.
We have any number of happy memories of time spent with Carl in the mountains.

Dear Paul, Lisa, Anna, Isabella, and families. I will not be able to join you tomorrow in your memorial service in honour of Carl. Know though that my thoughts have been with you constantly since I received the sad, sad news of Carl’s passing. I have had lovely conversations with you at July Camp last year, and also with Carl, and I know how close you all are. You will continue to remain in my thoughts as you mourn the loss of your beloved brother, husband and father. Warmest regards. Tineke

Dear Anna, Isabella, Paul & family
Our family is deeply saddened by Carl’s premature passing. The many happy times we shared with him in the mountains will remain with us for ever.
We will be with you in spirit as you honour Carl in the beautiful Gardens today. He left a wonderful legacy.
Dear Anna, Isabella, Paul, Lisa and families,
We were so very sad and shocked by the news of Carl’s accident.
It was Carl and Anna who introduced me to the Johannesburg Mountain Club and I am indebted to them both. We have very fond memories of climbing, hiking and spending time in beautiful mountains and July Camps with Carl.
Our thoughts and deep condolences are with you all during his Memorial today and in this time of mourning and loss.
Warmest wishes,
Sue and Terry
Anna, Isabella and all the family.
We are thinking of you and send our love and warmest wishes.
Much love Lawrence and Jan
