On April 7th, 2025, Warren Eva became the first South African to summit Annapurna I — one of the most dangerous and revered peaks on the planet. Warren joins an elite group of fewer than 370 climbers in history to reach the summit of this notorious mountain. This achievement adds to his growing list of epic climbs — including K2 in 2022 — and cements his place in South African climbing history! MCSA Johannesburg salutes Warren, his teammate John Black, and the rest of the team!
