This 4.6km hike in the Magaliesberg Biosphere includes some grade 8 scrambling to cross the Grootkloof Gorge to reach the Free Standing “Isolation Pinnacle”.
We climb the Pinnacle and picnic on top before abseiling down the other side.

This adventure is ideal for Hikers/Beginner Climbers who can rope up for the scrambles (as needed) and who can follow the Single Pitch Grade 10 climb on Top Rope. Beginner Trad climbers wanting to Lead the route are also welcome.  Due to limited space on the Pinnacle – numbers will be limited.
