    Neil Margetts will be leading an exciting and unique dry tooling meet at the radioactive crag near harties.

    So, what is dry tooling?

    Dry tooling is a form of rock climbing in which ice axes are used to climb rock that is not covered in snow or ice.  For all you future ice climbers or even the experienced, come try a unique form of the sport with expert guidance.

MCSA members will get preference.Format and location: The trad orientation clinic will take place in Cedarberg Kloof and will be over two days.Day1:  The clinic will focus on practical gear placement, racking up, anchor building, route finding, and climbing (lead and/or follow).

    Day 2: Optional day to climb with an experienced person in the Tonquani Complex. Routes will be selected based on individual abilities.

    Costs:  Free for MCSA members,  R60 parking fee.

    Numbers will be limited so subscribe early.
