Easter Kloof is privately owned and MCSA has arranged with the landowner to hold this meet. With no steep walk-ins and a waterfall, Easterkloof is a beautiful and accessible hiking kloof in the Magaliesberg. The kloof, which got its name as the first time the MCSA held a meet there was over the Easter weekend, offers a range of hikes of various lengths through a beautiful gorge along the stream bed.
Parking is on Calabash; a parking fee of R40/car is payable at the venue, in cash, on the day.
Permits have to be obtained – please contact Margie a.s.a.p to confirm your attendance so that we can arrange for these and to get more information.https://mcsajohannesburg.org/event/c-limbing-mhlabatini/

email: email@example.com / cell: 082 373 5605A beautiful steep and narrow kloof famous for its many crack climbs. Most of the 140 or so routes in Mhlabatini are multi-pitch natural lines. While grades vary from 5 to 27 there’s a large selection of higher grade climbs – making it a favourite for climbers wanting to push grades. The land is owned by MCSA but our initial access is over privately owned land.
Parking is near the farmhouse of the farm adjacent to the MCSA property – cost is R40/car/day payable at the venue – into the ‘honesty box’ in the parking area, where the MCSA register also has to be signed.https://mcsajohannesburg.org/event/conservation-meet-dome-pools/
