We meet two Wednesdays in every month at 19h30 at our clubhouse near Melrose Arch. To find out when the next club night is, contact the MCSA Johannesburg Section office.

It’s a good time to network, meet members, drink cheap beer and find out what’s happening. We often have slide shows of expeditions or trips that our members have made, lectures on whatever our members find interesting, sometimes shows of mountaineering films.

In November 2013, the MCSA invited world-famous climber Stephen Venables for a series of lectures across the country, including Johannesburg.

The clubhouse offers a library of mountaineering-related books and magazines, available to members.

It's easy to get there from the Atholl-Oaklands exit from the M1 highway. See a hand-drawn map with driving directions here. See the interactive Google Map here. "Pub side pitch" on the map shows where the MCSA Jhb club house is.
